Kari Di Loreto

Kari Di Loreto, a long time Beacon resident, holds a bachelor's degree in fine art with a minor in education from the University at Albany.  Following graduation, Ms. Di Loreto taught pre-school to four and five year olds in Schenectady, NY. After moving back to Beacon she joined the Beacon Institute as a part-time docent while also working at Hudson Beach Glass as a studio assistant to a local artist and sales associate.

Now working full-time as the Institute's Receptionist and Docent, Ms. Di Loreto greets and welcomes all visitors to the Institute and informs them about the Institute and its projects, programs, education initiatives and gallery exhibits. She also manages the inventory for the Institute’s book and gift shop and provides general administrative assistance to other members of the staff.
