Michelle D. Land
Michelle D. Land, J.D. is the Director of the Environmental Consortium of Hudson Valley Colleges and Universities and Program Coordinator of the Pace Academy for the Environment. She is an adjunct professor in Pace's environmental studies undergraduate program and environmental science graduate program as well as NYU’s Steindhardt School of Education and SUNY Purchase College. Prior to her time at Pace, Land worked as a wildlife biologist at the World Bird Sanctuary in St. Louis, Missouri.
Land received her J.D. and certificate in environmental law from Pace University School of Law where she served as Editor-in-Chief of the Pace Environmental Law Review. Land has completed coursework in the Master's degree ecology program at University of Missouri and received her Bachelor of Science degree in wildlife biology from the University of Guelph in Ontario. She is a Board member of MetroPool Inc. and is also an appointed member of Westchester County Executive Andy Spano’s Global Warming Task Force. Land is affiliated with both the National Council for Science and the Environment and the Council of Environmental Deans and Directors.
